There is no phone tree, no dispatcher, and no message queue where your project sits until someone gets around to it. The people who answer are the people who will walk your property, give you the estimate, and run the machine. It is a short line from your first message to real answers, and that is exactly how we like it.

Here is what happens when you reach out. Tell us what you are dealing with in plain language. It might be a driveway that has cracked past the point of patching, a backyard that turns into a pond every spring, downspouts dumping water against your foundation, a slope you want held back with a retaining wall, or a pile of dirt and debris left behind by an old project. You do not need contractor vocabulary. Describe what you want gone, moved, or changed, and we will translate it into a plan.

If texting is easier, text. Photos of the area are genuinely helpful and often save a round of questions. Snap a few shots, add a sentence or two about what you are hoping for, and send them over. We will look at what you sent, ask anything we need to ask, and set up a time to see the site if the project calls for it.

Estimates are free. There is no cost and no obligation in finding out what your project involves and what it would take to do it right. We give you a straight number, explain what is included, and let you decide on your own schedule. Nobody from Sterling's will pressure you, upsell you, or camp in your driveway until you sign something. We would rather earn the job by being honest and easy to deal with than talk anyone into anything.

We are also respectful of your time. Our reviews mention communication more than anything else, and that habit starts before the work does. When we set a time to meet, we hold to it. When something on our end shifts, you hear about it from us. And when the conversation is finished, you will know exactly where things stand and what happens next.

Email works too, if that suits you better. Some folks like having the details written down in one place, and we are happy to read through whatever you send and reply with our questions or a plan for next steps. Use whichever channel feels natural. The response you get is the same either way, because the same two people are on the other end of all of them.

What to have ready

• Rough dimensions, even if it is just a paced-off guess
• A plain description of what you want gone or changed
• Anything on the property you want protected, like beds, fences, or lines
• A general sense of when you are available for a site visit
